As in all industries, time is money. The faster you begin production, the faster you start making a return on your investment. But rushing the planning process is counterproductive and may mean that although you make a profit faster, that profit doesn’t reach its full potential – which, of course, could be critical for long-term success. If you fail to plan, you plan to fail #dreamfactory #tiremanufacturing @CimcorpGroup CLICK TO TWEET
In Finland, we have a saying: “Hyvin suunniteltu on puoliksi tehty”. Based on the philosophy of Aristotle, this translates as “Well begun is half done”. In other words, the essence of successful planning is quality. The time and effort invested will be paid back during both installation and operation of your system. If you want your facility to be constructed quickly and work efficiently, you simply cannot cut corners during the planning and design stage. The layout has to be spot on, and so does the software.
With most tire factories running 24/7, machinery or IT failures mean downtime and lost production that can simply never be recovered. If something does go wrong, it is vital to get up-and-running again as quickly as possible, figure out the cause of the problem and minimize the risk of it happening again.
Right control software is invaluable #software #tires #automation @CimcorpGroup CLICK TO TWEET This is where having the right control software is invaluable. With dozens of machines doing various tasks at a plant, there can be hundreds of equipment interfaces. If everything is supervised by one software system, problems are easier to find and fix. When the whole factory is controlled by Cimcorp’s software, there are no gray areas – it’s our duty to resolve any issues as quickly and efficiently as possible, even if the problem doesn’t emanate from our automation but from other machinery. This allows you to focus on your core business.
