Cimcorp supplies a Chinese color picture tube factory with two new gun seal machines. The machines will be installed into a production line which produces several types of true flat and conventional picture tubes including large 28” - 34” tubes in different variations.

The gun seal machines have 14 rotating heads which transfer the bulbs through the heating, melting and cooling process in order to insert the guns into the bulbs. Cimcorp’s scope of supply includes gun seal machines, loading and unloading robots, gas and valve systems and gun orientation with a vision system. Cimcorp is also responsible for the system integration, installation and start-up of the equipment.

The first gun seal machines of this type were installed a couple of years ago and they have proven to be very stable and reliable in the operation.
